Course Overview: This training equips healthcare and laboratory professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to implement and maintain an effective Biorisk and Biosafety Management System in line with ISO 35001:2019. Participants will learn how to identify, assess, and mitigate biological risks while fostering a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring protection of personnel, the public, and the environment.
Course Objectives: By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Understand and apply ISO 35001:2019 requirements for biorisk management.
Identify biological hazards and assess associated risks effectively.
Implement controls and standard operating procedures to mitigate biorisks.
